This antibody-cytokine fusion protein was achieved by conjugating/fusing the Anti-GD2 scFv-Fc to IL2. It was expressed in CHO and purified with affinity chromatography. The immunocytokine retains the ability to bind the GD2 as well as the biological activity of IL2. The fusion protein improved Fc-Receptor binding and improved ADCC effector function, is useful in the treatment of GD2-expressing cancers in dogs.
