Immortalized Human Oviductal Cells (OE-E6/E7)

Primary human fallopian epithelial cells (OE) were isolated from women in her follicular phase of the menstrual cycle. Immortalization was preformed through infection with retrovirus carrying the HPV E6/E7 gene to establish the Immortalized Human Oviductal Cells (OE-E6/E7). OE-E6/E7 cells maintain the epithelial phenotype and expresses ERα and ERβ receptors. It can be used to purify and characterize embryotrophic factors secreted for further discovery in embryo developmentin vitro.
