Firefly Luciferase circRNA will express a luciferase protein, originally isolated from the firefly, Photinus pyralis. It emits bioluminescence in the presence of the substrate, luciferin. Firefly Luciferase circRNA is therefore ideal for monitoring and optimizing transfection efficiency and is recommended as a positive control for circular RNA transfections.
